Sometimes you’re lucky enough to witness a true love story. The kind of story where without words or explanation you just sense a bond and maybe even a gravitational pull between two people. With two so perfectly complimented by each other you can’t imagine them any way but together. You find yourself holding your breath for them hoping and praying for everything to play out the way it should while at the same feeling like they have always been together for as long as you can remember!
This weekend we attended the wedding of our dear friends John and Sobrina. I cannot fully express the joy of watching these two kindred spirits give the rest of their days to each other. It was beautiful! Sharing their celebration with them was a gift to us! It reminds me of how fortunate we are to love in life and to have that love returned. The longer I am married to my husband the more I understand how rare and priceless such a connection is. I treasure it above all things. I can’t wait to see John and Sobrina’s future unfold. They will always brighten every path they walk together in life! We are honored and grateful to have been a part of their special day.
Because She Would Ask Me Why I Loved Her
If questioning would make us wise
No eyes would ever gaze in eyes;
If all our tale were told in speech
No mouths would wander each to each.
Were spirits free from mortal mesh
And love not bound in hearts of flesh
No aching breasts would yearn to meet
And find their ecstasy complete.
For who is there that lives and knows
The secret powers by which he grows?
Were knowledge all, what were our need
To thrill and faint and sweetly bleed?.
Then seek not, sweet, the “If” and “Why”
I love you now until I die.
For I must love because I live
And life in me is what you give.
